How to Find Open Access Items in Omni

Introduction

Open Access (OA) is the free, online availability of scholarly research such as peer-reviewed academic articles or research data. The OA publishing model makes research available to readers at no cost, which increases the accessibility and use of research results for those who do not have access to paid subscriptions.

Most OA journals adhere to rigorous peer-review processes and have high-quality publishing standards, often reviewed by the same peer reviewers as traditional journals. If you want to verify whether an OA journal is peer-reviewed, you can look it up on the Directory of Open Access Journals.
