Queen’s new Research Data Storage Finder Tool is now launched! 

Registration is open for the virtual session held March 18, 12-1 pm to introduce the Queen’s research community to this tool. 

This session will walk you through: 

  • Identifying available research data storage options for active, backup, and long-term storage 
  • Best practices in research data management-related to funder compliance requirements, as well as ethical, legal and commercial obligations 
  • Queen’s-based resources to support research data storage needs

About the Research Data Storage Finder Tool: The Research Data Storage Finder is a self-service, interactive tool that supports researchers in evaluating storage options and services based on a range of features and requirements for their data. 

A collaboration between Queen’s Information Technology Services, Queen’s University Library and the Vice-Principal Research Portfolio including the Centre for Advanced Computing, Queen's is dedicated to equipping the research community with resources like the Research Data Storage Finder that align with best practices in research data management, funder requirements and ethical, legal and commercial obligations. The tool provides local, regional, national and international options that are available to the university community and vetted by experts at the institution
