Preparations for the Spring Summer 2026 term are underway at the Library and we invite you to submit your Course Reserves reading lists to ensure that items are available for your students through your course sites or in our print reserves collection on the first day of classes. We also welcome the submission of Course Reserves reading lists for the upcoming Fall 2026 term.
Course Reserves reading lists can be submitted to the library via email: library.reserves@queensu.ca.
Course Reserves reading lists will be processed in the order that we receive them. Please note the following:
- It can take up to two weeks for ordered course materials to ship, arrive, and be processed; and
- Copyright permissions and licenses can take up to two weeks, depending on publishers’ timelines.
It is not necessary to have your onQ course site activated before submitting your Course Reserves reading lists. We can process your reading lists in advance and connect them to your onQ course sites when they have been activated.
The Library’s Course Reserves service is the easiest way to ensure that course materials comply with Queen’s Copyright Compliance and Administration Policy and the Canadian Copyright Act. If you need any assistance, please contact: Katelyn Couch, Course Reserves Coordinator: library.reserves@queensu.ca
