Join us for an online workshop on Tuesday, February 10 from noon to 1pm, to explore the principles of Open Access (OA) and what they mean for the future of research at Queen’s.
Presented in partnership with Queen’s Library, this session will examine how knowledge is created, shared, and commercialized, and how community-based, library-supported publishing models offer alternatives to proprietary platforms. We’ll also highlight practical supports available to Queen’s researchers, including read-and-publish agreements, diamond OA publishing options, and QSpace. Whether you’re new to OA or looking to go deeper, this session offers both critical context and actionable guidance.
