Overdue Items & Fines, Lost or Damaged Materials
Overdue items and fines
Overdue notices are sent as a courtesy to remind borrowers of a missed due date. The overdue notice does not absolve a borrower of responsibility to return or renew materials. For Queen’s students, faculty and staff, the email address used for all Library notices is the patron’s Queens’s NetID.
We charge overdue fines for Recalled items and Reserves

All items declared lost will incur the following charges:

With the exception of regular wear and tear, damaged library material should be reported to the Information desk prior to checkout. The material will be stamped indicating that the damage has been noted before you borrowed it.
