We are thrilled to unveil our new Graphic Medicine Collection of graphic novels and comics that bring health experiences to life through the unique intersection of art and medicine.

What is Graphic Medicine?

Graphic Medicine harnesses the compelling visual language of comics to explore the human side of healthcare. Through illustrated narratives, these works capture patient journeys, medical challenges, and healthcare experiences in ways that traditional texts cannot. From intimate portrayals of illness and recovery to critical examinations of the healthcare system, these graphic works offer readers an immersive window into diverse medical realities. It is storytelling that educates, inspires empathy, and transforms how we understand health and healing.

About the Collection

This collection includes both fiction and non-fiction work that reflect a wide range of voices and healthcare experiences. It highlights stories from underrepresented communities and features materials that support empathetic, patient-centered care. Explore works like Roz Chast's Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant?, a darkly humorous graphic memoir chronicling caring for aging parents through their final years, Molly Muldoon's Quick & Easy Guide to Asexuality, which provides accessible insights into asexual identity; and Tessa Brunton's Notes from a Sickbed, an intimate visual account of living with chronic illness.
